Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of stainless steel does LD use in the production of equipment?
High quality SUS304 (SUS meaning Steel Use Stainless). It has a minimum of 18% chromium and 8% nickel, combined with a maximum of 0.08% carbon. Some of its characteristics include; excellent forming and welding properties, corrosion/ oxidation resistance, deep drawing quality and ease of cleaning.
Can you tell me more about your warranty coverage?
We have a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty which applies to; Brewhouse stainless steel products; Tank products; Jacket welding issues. Other components not manufactured by LD will be covered as an extension of the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) warranty. Normally for electrical component /steel components, the warranty period is one year. For gasket, plastic parts, the warranty period is for 6 months.
Does LD have standard designs or can you customize to my specifications?
Aside from offering our standard fermentation and brite tanks, LD Craft manufacturers custom fabricated and designed brewhouses and tanks for a wide array of industries. We can custom fabricate to your design or provide a solution for your specific needs, no matter how small the detail.
If I was to purchase from LD, what are my payment options and terms?
We accept many forms of payment options from Wire Transfer (TT), Western Union, Letters of Credit (L/C), Trade Assurance. Normally we accept a 30% down payment after signed drawings with the balance due prior to shipping.
What is the lead time for ordering?
Based on the complexity of the order, we can typically complete manufacturing between 60 working days.
Can you provide technical support, drawings, installation services?
We operate a fully-staffed engineering department with CAD technicians that can produce full brewery layouts fit to your space, PID drawings, electrical schematics, piping and individual equipment drawings.
When it comes time for installation, LD Craft will send a technician to your site to assist in your brewery set-up for a fee based on the duration needed for your project size and complexity.
Can you manage and coordinate shipping and delivery to my brewery location?
LD offers a one-stop solution including shipping and delivery service to your location covering documentation, ocean freight, customs brokerage, inland freight. Provide us with a destination and we’ll handle rest.
Am I able to see my equipment in person, possibly running a cold-brew to test functionality?
Welcome to visit us to tour our operation and see your equipment in person. We’ll be glad to assist with your itinerary while in China. In addition, you have the ability to hire a 3rd. party inspection company to review your system and provide feedback prior to shipping.
